Week In the Life

Day 4
Thursday

After yet another long night with Noah (not sure what his deal is?) I woke up and began the morning routine. Hurried to get yesterday's blog up during Ella's room time so that I could get it over with. Plus I've found that the longer I wait, the harder it is to remember stuff. lol.

Noah had a blowout. And apparently when I "cleaned" him up I didn't realize that it got on his sides, too. And I'm ashamed to say I still didn't see it until I looked at these pictures this morning and thought...eww!!!
Also, thought I would give you a peek of my stash that Ella refers to as "Mommy's chocolate"

Then..after getting all the kiddos clothed and dresses. And packing lunches, drinks, towels, sunscreen..all the good stuff that a BEACH trip needs..we hit the road!

Yes, I'm so so excited. We actually went to the beach. I think I've only been to the beach like once or twice since I moved here. SO sad. Because I love the beach!
Ella once again decided she did not want a picture taken.

Had to stop on the way out of town to grab a few more things.
And I smiled when I saw that the pumpkins were out. I love Fall. Besides Christmas..it's my favorite time of the year. Pumpkin Spice everything and sweaters and perfect park weather. So wonderful.
Felt kinda creepy taking pictures out of my car window while waiting for Randy to come back out. LOL.

Had to make a ton of stops on the way to the beach for a little girl who had to pee. And at least one for a little boy who wanted milk. Two hours later..we finally arrive at the beach :)

And it was the most perfect, beautiful, beach day!!
We took Noah down to check out the water. He wasn't really interested. Then we got him all settled in. We put him in his carseat, pulled his shade over, and then ghetto rigged Ella's Hello Kitty umbrella on top. Yes, I realize this sounds incredibly redneck, but we stopped to try and buy ourselves a big beach umbrella and had no luck. I am going to search Wal Mart this week and see if I can find a good deal on one to put aside for next Summer. But for this trip..desperate times called for desperate measures.

and Noah thought his nice, shady carseat was awesome.
Neither of our children like the water, but we still managed to get some pics. We were pretty bummed that Ella was scared of it. Maybe next year she'll like it.
Noah hung out..and we played in the sand..
These next pictures are favorites. Yes. I asked my husband if I could bury him because I'm immature like that. And because I thought it would be fun. And it was :)Tried to get showered and as much of the sand as possible gone. Then loaded up and started the drive home. Another long drive.

Back at home had to give both the kiddos baths. Even little Noah had sand all stuck in his neck and rolls!

Then polished Ella's nails because she's been asking me alot and I haven't taken the time to do it for her. She was happy and they look super cute.

As the hours passed my nice sunburn began to show. I know this sounds insane, but I purposely didn't put sunscreen on so that I could get alot of sun (aka a sunburn) since this is most likely my last real opportunity. I'm white. Really white. And this is how I get a little bit of color. I completely know better. I'm an esthetician. Skin Care is what I know. But do as I SAY..not as I DO! :-)
Still...you can have a laugh at my goofy tan lines..They have already faded significantly as I'm writing this, but they were lookin' really nice last night....

Told you we're obsessed. lol.

After baths and all that good stuff we put the kids to bed.
Randy and I layed on the couch, watched a movie, and ate yummy cheesecake bites.
Then off to bed.

Week In the Life...

I'm starting to feel bad because my days haven't been that exciting. I might be going somewhere exciting as soon as I'm done posting this. But you'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

Day 3
Wednesday

The night time between Day 2 and Day 3 was rough. Noah (who usually sleeps all night) decided to wake up around 1:30 screaming. I let him cry a bit and then went in and gave him his paci. Back to sleep. Then around 3:00. AM. He woke up again crying. So I repeating the routine, except this time I had to do it twice. For a total of maybe 10-15 minutes of crying. Back to sleep he went until 4:45am. At this point I'm tired and feeling like a zombie. So I tried once more to get him to go back to sleep and ended up feeding him around 5:00.

Good news, is that we all slept in until 8:00 or so :)
Then I did the usually morning stuff. Mostly having to do with this girly.

Dressed. Room Time. Me Dressed. Breakfast.

And off to pick up friends!

Lots of baby doll playing. Pretending they were each others Mommies. Parading through the house with strollers. And then we decided to make a craft.

Sarah made a jewelery box and Ella and Hannah made picture frames. All with Popsicle sticks. So fun. And messy. But Fun!

and by the way..have you ever seen anything so cute?? Have I mentioned we're SO proud of her??Lunch. Turkey and cheese melts. Chips. And Ice Cream outside on the porch for dessert :-)

Took the girl's back home. Ella and I stopped by Harris Teeter (and thankfully found a break in the rain and didn't get soaked). A few groceries. Cookie and balloon for Ella (her favorite thing about that store!) I on the other hand have been getting annoyed with how insane their prices have gotten. Why does it have to be so kid friendly?? Maybe the other stores should have free balloons, too.

Naps. And some Daddy/Noah cuddle time. Because Noah is having a little bit of separation anxiety or maybe he's just spoiled. I don't know. But he gets his feelings hurt when he isn't being cuddled. LOL.

See??? So sad.

Noah joins Ella for a nap (and ate a million times in here that I have just stopped including ;) )

Then once they were both down, I was finally able to get on the computer and blog Day 2. And it was better, but still took awhile.

Hung out with my hubby and listened to him play guitar. My absolute favorite.

Ate dinner. Leftover Enchilada Casserole from yesterday. Got Ella up from her nap at 6:15 when I had to be at Bible Study at 6:30. She got a late start going down (since we stopped at the store on the way home earlier) Still made it by 6:40 or so...but it's not that far away. And Randy helped me get Ella ready ;)

Had the best night with my friends at our Bible Study. Just a small group of us and 3 new babies!

Came home. Jammies, Stories, and cute teeth brushing.

and I played on facebook until my hubby got home.

The End!

Week In The Life

Day 2
Tuesday

Woke up around 7 with Mr. Noah. Did the usual (feed and pump)..wont torture you with pictures this time :))
Left Noah to do some tummy time..he always starts out smiling and happy until he realizes how much he hates tummy time. lol. I think Noah would call it "tummy torture" if he could.

This morning I went straight for the frappuccino instead of the Mt. Dew and did most of the same stuff I told you about yesterday...so I'm not going to waste time telling you again..

I spent WAY TOO LONG blogging yesterday...it's really hard for me to leave out details..but today I am going to have to leave some out..because I can't blog for hours..it was that insane.
Then I had to complete a project that I dread every season. Time to change out Ella's closet from Summer clothes..to Fall clothes...and she has LOTS of clothes. It's no easy chore as the pictures will show.

The "new" clothes (actually amazing han-me-downs we are so blessed to get)

The closet before I start pulling out stuff she isn't wearing or wont need this fall..
What Miss Ella did to entertain herself while I worked.. Talked to my sister lots while I worked..laughed because she asked if that meant she would make it into this post..and she did :) because I love her! (and please excuse how gross my phone looks..yikes!)Ella decided early on that she was tired of all the pictures..

Nap and lunch for Noah :)

and then he joined Ella and I..and almost got buried alive. Because the clothes began to take over.

I became so desperate to finish I actually heard myself begging Ella to watch more Dora..funny it's usually the other way around :)Lunch.

with our fav honey mustard!

Yum-O! Look Sis! You made it on the blog again..because you left your shirt at my house and I didn't want it to waste away until you visit next :) Randy calls this the "highlighter" shirt because it's so bright.

Stories and naps for both kiddos.
Check out this adorable center peace. Fun..but I don't really have any reason for one. Wish I did though!!

Hubby came home and even unloaded the dishwasher for me. HAD to get a pic of that!! I ran to the post office and store while he stayed home with the babes.

The game that is overtaking our family. lol. I decided I wouldn't include each time throughout the day that I jump on facebook...because this post would become REALLY long. I know it's ridiculous, but we're not going to talk about that :)
Finished packing up the clothes..and ended up having to grab a bigger rubbermaid.
Finally finished once Ella was up from her nap. Thank goodness!

Actually have some empty space now!

Project Number 2..organize random junk on dresser..

The floor became visible once more...

Thankfully I had a Beef Enchilada Casserole in the freezer that I made last week. Tossed that in the oven so my poor hubby would have something to eat before he headed back out.

Hung out a little longer with the kiddos.

Don't think Noah appreciates all of his sister's stuff taking over his room.

And my favorite. Princess shoes at the foot of the bed. Because all Princess' have to sleep with their glittery shoes.

Skyped with my Mama. Jammies. Stories. Bed time for the kiddos. Facebook :) and reading for me.
