Mismatch Monday

I don't really have any good blog posts in mind.  Or really even any good pictures that go together to share.  But still, I was thinking that we needed an update!!  We went to the Splashground twice last week, went to Jumping Parties, and even went swimming..and do I have any pictures to prove it?  Nope! I forgot my camera all THREE times.  Shame on me!  So, today all I have to offer is a few completely random photos.  Most were taken in the mornings when we all find ourselves in my bed snuggling and trying to wake up.  That's become our Summer norm...kiddos wake up around 7 or so and we all sleep/watch cartoons/snuggle in my bed until 8..sometimes later if we don't have to be out the door for Stroller Shape.  You should try it!  It really is a nice way to start the day!  :)

Noah looks kinda sad in this pics, but I'm not sure what was happening!  He actually really LOVES going on a ride with Sissy,

Sleepy Face Noah :)

My Two Silly Willy's!

Ella..
That's all I have for now!  Promise, I'll remember to take the camera along this week!

Shop till ya drop!

The kids and I went to Kroger today to stock up on groceries and Ella was so excited to finally use the little  kid buggies.  She helped me find things we were looking for and did really great!  It was a little hectic for me...just trying to make sure she didn't take out any displays or run over people's heels!  She actually did great at steering the cart and I was really proud of the way she handled it when I told her she couldn't buy something.  She just followed behind me until we spotted something we needed!  It was a long trip, but LOTS of fun!!

What we're up to..

Wow.  We had such a busy weekend.  We have gone non-stop all week and into the weekend.  Lots of parties and fun, but it was definitely nice to wake up and breathe a huge *sigh* that it was over and done now.  It will take the rest of this week, just to catch up and adjust back into life!

We had a VERY special occasion to celebrate yesterday and Blogger wouldn't cooperate with me for her original post.  I am going to try and finish the draft tonight.

Miss Ella Grace had a BIRTHDAY!!
She is a very proud 3 year old now and we are a very proud Momma and Daddy!  I can't believe she is THREE!  There are no words to how grateful I am that we were blessed with this little girl.  She is such a joy to me.  She is growing up so much.  I could cry just thinking about it.  I have so much fun with her and I'm so proud of the girl she has become.  She kept us giggling yesterday morning with her little comments about "feeling so much bigger" or that "my hair is longer because I am three now!". She had a double Birthday party with Hannah and had lots of fun.  The pics are up on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=75240&id=1148370521&l=3ea5243e34 ) if you want to check them out!  My link thing on blogger wont let me paste this and I'm not going to type it all out, so you can just c&p as well :-)

Here's my little party Princess!

We also decided to have a Dora day at home and use Dora cups and napkins all day in honor of Ella's Birthday.
And some other news...Noah is officially riding in a "big boy" carseat!  Ella was 15 months when she finally got to ride in a front facing seat, but she was still barely 19 pounds then.  While waiting for her to meet the weight requirement, her legs grew so long that we had to flip her around anyways.  I'm not even sure Noah's exact weight.  We've had such a busy Summer that we have to schedule his One year visit for his shots.  When he was sick a month or so ago, he weighed 18 pounds and he seems to have grown since then so I'm pretty sure he's met the 20 pound mark.  I feel more paranoid about him being in it though.  Never felt that way with Ella, but I think since his seat is bigger than hers, he just looks so teeny tiny sitting back there!!!  He is loving it though!
Let's see...what else??  Ella and Randy had a cute moment this week when he painted her nails for her.  I usually always do it, but a few nights ago she wanted it done and I was busy with something else.  Randy painted them for her and it was so sweet!

Also, Ella got her drivers license so watch out!  She is still learning and it starting to get the hang of how to use the steering wheel on her new ride!

And, just for my fellow Twilight fans, here is a picture of me on my Birthday on the opening day of Eclipse!  We had so much fun and the movie was sooo good.  I'm ashamed to say I've already seen it twice! Thanks to my friends that came out and had fun with me!

Randy is still leading worship at church.  He took the Summer off from school and is working doing some I T stuff for the Summer.  He is getting all set up to start back again in the Fall!

I'm working Fridays and Saturday and really enjoying it.  It's really been a nice balance for me. Still allows me to be home with the kiddos, but I can keep my hands in work and make some money, too!

So there.  I think you are officially caught up on our lives!  :-)
