Ella's new hat!

Some friends from small group got Ella a pink onesie and matching hat that say Discovery Church..Now she has something cute to wear when we are out doing service projects!

Ella's 11 weeks!!

Wow! So Ella turned 11 weeks yesterday! She is changing so much! Randy and I were just playing with her this morning and she was cooing like crazy...She can hold her head up great and tries to stand up when we hold her. We miss her infant look but she is SO much more fun now!

Here are some random but cute pictures I've taken over the weekend of Ella. I can't believe we're 3 days away from 11 weeks!

LONG week...

This week has felt really really long...I guess it's always like that the week you come back from a trip. The good news is we are finally back into our routine. Ella started sleeping in her own room this week in the crib. She had been sleeping in our room in the bassinet up until then. I think it has been a harder adjustment for me than for her!! I am so used to peeking into the bassinet and making sure she's OK at night. Now I find myself tip toeing into the room to watch her sleep and make sure all is well. She doesn't seem to know the difference- she loves to sleep.period. Randy and I are in awe of how lucky we are to have her. It sounds corny, but she really has made us better people.

Back from Florida

So we just got back yesterday from Florida. It was a last minute trip but we are really glad we went. It was the first time we have gone down and came back feeling relaxed and refreshed. We didn't get to see alot of friends but we had lots of time with our family and it was so much fun! Ella got to see grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, AND she went in the pool for the first time!

Ella's First Package!!

This morning the FedEx Man dropped off a box for Ella. Inside were some really cute pink shoes from her Dolly (my mom). Of course the scrapbooker in me decided it was a perfect photo op and the pictures are cute!! Thanks Dolly- we LOVE them!!

A very early morning....

Today Ella and I took Bria and Shanna Martin to the airport in Raleigh. Their flight was at 7:40am so we had to leave Greenville around 5am to get there on time..That meant that I had to be up around 3:45 am in order to get Ella fed and the two of us ready!! It was really early but we made it there in one piece and the Martin's flight went great! The girls were so tired and slept most of the way. When we opened the doors to the backseat, this is what we found:

Talk about a neck ache! Poor things!

Labor Day

Over the weekend we went to a Labor Day Bar-B-Q at our friend Christina's house. It was alot of fun and once the sun started going down the weather was great! I only took a couple of pics but here they are..

Sunday Morning...

This past week Ella has been a little cranky! Last night she was up and down quite a bit which throws Randy and I off a bit (we're used to the good baby that sleeps 8 hours straight already!!) I think she got it all out of her system though because I woke up to this smiling face...It makes the whole night of no sleep worth it :)
