So I have completely neglected to take my camera with me anywhere. It's crazy, but I'm pretty sure the last time I used it was when I took our trip to TN. The batteries are dead and every time I'm at the store, I forget. So this week I am going to get more batteries! Until then, I have taken several pictures and video on my phone while we've been out and about.
We have been so busy! We're working into routines now that Ella has school and gymnastics. She also started the
Awana program at a church here in Greenville. I'm so proud of how great she is doing, too! She loves it and has been doing a great job memorizing her verses! School is going really well for her and she looks forward to it every week. She is also doing so great at gymnastics! She only has 2 weeks left and then they will have a parent's night so we can come see her routines. It wont start up again after that until January.
As for Mr. Noah..he is doing great, too! He keeps us laughing all day with his serious yet silly personality. If looks could kill...We'd be in trouble! He has an "old soul", but yet he is so playful and cuddly. It has been an adjustment for me having Ella busy and "on her own" so many times throughout the week, but I have learned to use those times to make memories with Noah. I LOVE our pre-school mornings where I can just hang out with Noah. We have so much fun together!! We're also having fun with Noah now that he "talks" to us. Randy got to have his first conversation with Noah on the phone yesterday and it was SO cute! Noah would just repeat what I told him to say in his little baby voice. "Daddy!" "Hi" "Love you!" Talk about getting Daddy wrapped! He could've asked for anything he wanted after that!!
I have some pictures to share with you from this past weekend. We met up with my friend Nancy and her son Brendan and went to the Circus! When we showed up, the place was packed and the only "seats" they had available were the floor. Being the good mommies we are...and not wanting to disappoint the 2 and 3 year olds who had been yelling, "circus! circus! circus!" the whole way there...we decided to brave the floor. I wasn't as bad as I was expecting and thankfully some ladies on the bleachers eventually invited us to squish up with them. I don't have a picture, but Brendan, Ella, and I went on an elephant ride. I will NEVER do that again!!! All 3 of us agreed that we didn't like it ;)

Then on Saturday I took the kids to Briley's Farm and pumpkin patch! One of Ella's friends was having her Birthday party there and the mom's group I'm a part of was also having their 3rd anniversary party there. It was a little hectic trying togo between both groups, but we were happy to get to visit with everyone and see little Hailey turn 2!

The farmers said that the heat this year has dried out most of their crops, but they did have some come in okay.
They had lots of animals to walk around and look at. Mostly birds like chicken, geese, guineas..

And also, on a more serious note..we had to say goodbye to some sweet friends this month. They had moved to Greenville from Florida while also working on their own ministry that helps fathers and sons. Well, anyways, long story short...God has moved them completely across the country to a place where they can better pursue their ministry and the husband will also serve as a youth pastor. It has been amazing to watch them as they literally walked into the unknown, trusting that God would show them where they needed to be and He absolutely did!! Although we are SO excited to see what's next for them and follow them on this journey..they did take a little piece of our family's heart with them when they left! Ella said goodbye to her very best friend! I think she is still a little confused and will ask often about when she can see Anna, but I am trying to turn it from something sad into excitement about Anna moving somewhere new and God taking care of the Rice family.
