I need to get more batteries for my camera and for some reason I don't like to blog without pictures..It's like my blogs are always centered around pictures..but I decided to blog anyways...and this blog is like the title in that it's very random..
Just got back from Ella's 15 month check up..She is 19lbs. 9 oz. and 30 inches long. Still a small girl who is supposed to be riding in a rear facing car seat!! Only problem is that her long legs would be jammed up against the seat so we finally got to turn her forward. (See last post). Plus, I am willing to bet that if we weighed her after she eats she sould be 20 lbs! Anyways, she is nice and healthy and working on 5 teeth coming in. They had to give her 3 shots and it was pretty terrible. She was fighting with all she had!! Now that we're home every once in a while she will talk some really mean sounding jiberish followed by "Ouchie!" in a really high voice and then point to her band aids. Funny, but sad.
Now for a funny, but sweet story I thought I'd also share. Yesterday when I got home from babysitting the Ebeling's, there were some fresh flowers on one of my cofee tables. When Randy got home, I told him thankyou and that it was really sweet. I had no idea just how sweet it really was...See later that night, while we were driving Randy says, "Remember your flowers?", "Yes..." I say. "Want to know where I got them??".."You mean you didn't get them from the store??"...Now keep in mind this isn't just a vase with like a couple of the same flowers, it's like 3 different kinds that all look really pretty together. So Randy goes on to say that he really wanted to get me flowers because that's probably my favorite thing to get (that and chocolate!!), but he also knew that money was tight, so he drove around town and picked these flowers! Now I know what your all wondering, because after I told him how sweet and thoughtful it was, the next thing I just had to know was, "please tell me you didn't pick them from peoples yards!?" lol. He said no. In fact, two of the types came from different sides of a ditch almost under a bridge. He spotted purple ones from the road and then found white ones while hiking back with them. The best, I have saved for last...See the pink ones did in fact come from a grocery store! He found them on the bushes, right there in the Harris Teeter parking lot! lol. He's crazy, and I sometimes don't know why, but I love him.
I promise I will get batteries soon and update the pics..
*UPDATE*They're just pics from my phone, but they'll do!
