Happy Spring Time!

Here our a few pics of the kids (mostly Ella since Noah wouldn't stop eating dirt and trying to escape) at the Daffodil field! We were there with a friend after church yesterday and I decided to grab a few pics of the kiddos. We also went last week with our friend Lindsay who is a photographer. She took a couple of pics of the kids, but they were being pretty uncooperative so I'm not sure if any really turned out. I'll post those when she's done with them. For now, here are the ones I got. Ella was being super sweet and smiley..Noah was just being a BOY and most of his came out silly. I posted one of him that I thought was pretty cute though.

ENJOY!

Last Thursday..

Here's what a random Thursday looked like for us :)

The breakfast of champions..or not. Yes..chocolate pop tarts because we always seem to be running late on school mornings. The yummy breakfast mornings with eggs and such are usually on days where we can take our time and get ready. We are big fans of lazy mornings :)

My smiley boy is up and ready first and having some playtime in his room while the girls finish getting ready! He doesn't seem to mind because playing= FUN

The only remaining evidence of the peace offering I gave to Noah at 6:30am when he woke up. Yes, I totally got up, made him a bottle, gave it to him, and slept the whole 15-20 minutes it took him to drink it and THEN got up for the morning.
Notice that Daddy is still getting to sleep ;)
*And for the record, I asked his permission to "take his picture so I could show everyone what his morning looks like" and he said it was okay :)

After I dropped Ella off at school, I went on a "date" with my hubby in the McDonalds parking lot while Noah slept in his carseat. Hey, we'll take what we can get these days!!

Target..for something random like diaper wipes I think..

Picked up my sweet girl!

Who is goofy and used half a stick of chapstick within the first 20 minutes of getting home from school..

Cleaned Ella's room and gave her directions to help..over and over again..

while she was busy reading and playing..
Ella wanted to help take the pictures..

and documented me untangling the balloon that was caught in her fan..

We found a place to hang the kite she made at school..

and I tried to figure out where to put the paintbrush holder I painted last week..I decided to use it as a pen holder instead..

Nap time = laundry/cleaning time for mommy.
Up from nap and feeding Miss Fishy..

Helped to stuff plastic Easter eggs with our small group. They're for the huge egg hunt our church is hosting next month!

Ella did a great job helping to stuff!
(Excuse the blur..had to use my cell since I forgot the camera at home)

Snuggled with two clean babies in jammies and read stories!
Had some fun family cuddle time..

Then it was time for bed so we could start over again tomorrow :))

Day at the PARK!

Since we have spent the last few months with freezing temperatures most of the week, this warm(er) weather is exciting! We have had several days in a row with temps in the 60's and 70's. Absolutely beautiful weather!! Today has been rainy, but it is still warm enough you barely need a jacket. Thank goodness!! I can barely stand all of this cold weather.

Yesterday after running some errands around town, we stopped by our favorite park to play a little. Ella was so excited for the chance to run around and play and Noah seemed excited to be there, too. I'm looking forward to Spring and Summer. Ready to get out the kiddie pools and get in the sun! While we were outside earlier this week Ella said "It's so pretty out here! It's really really hot now!" She was so excited! Funny thing is, it was only maybe 65 degrees or so. Wait until a few months from now when the real heat kicks in!

Hope you enjoy all of the pics from the park!

And this one is really for me. Yesterday Noah wore a pair of shorts for the first time. He was a Summer baby, so he's worn one piece outfits with "shorts" for the bottom. But this was his first time wearing a real pair of shorts.
I never want to forget how adorable these little chubby legs look with his tiny little sneakers! Seriously, there are few things in life more precious than this folks!

Fun with Friends!

These are kind of old, but I've been meaning to post them for awhile now. There are two ladies in town that do musical puppet shows that Ella just loves. They are usually on Thursday mornings s once Ella started school I couldn't take her anymore. Now they are doing them once a month on Friday nights as well so she can go to those! This one was 2 weeks or so ago and The Rice's came with us! :)

Backyard Pics

Things have been crazy busy lately so my usual plan of blogging more went out the window yet again. Boo me. But I'm back today so that's good.

Last week, Randy and I went to Unleash 2010 in Anderson, SC. It was a leadership conference held at Perry Noble's church. We had a super fun time and actually left the kids for the first time! It seems slightly ridiculous that after being parents for almost 3 years we just now left and got away. But we dont have family near by and although I'm not really an "attachment parenting" kinda girl, I am pretty darn attached to my little ones and the thought of being in a completely different state then them..that just stresses me out!!!!
BUT! I really wanted to have the chance to go and I'm so glad I did. The kids were in great hands and when I went to pick them up the first thing Ella said was, "But I'm still playing". Yeah, I think they did okay. I did okay, too. I had the most wonderful family watching them and they sent me adorable picture messages to my phone throughout the day of the kids playing and having fun.

We also had one of Randy and Jason's former youth students that I just LOVE come up to visit a few nights and that was fun, too.
On Sunday afternoon my mom and sister drove in for a short vistit. Did I mention it was a crazy busy week? This was super exciting because I have to have a mommy and sister fix like every 5 or 6 weeks or I start getting really cranky haha!
Ella got a new trampoline that my mom found on clearance for a great price. We have been jumping several times a day because Ella cant get enough of it. And of course it's only because of Ella...Randy and I seriously wouldn't want jump on it ALL the time trying to do cool tricks and acting like teenagers. Seriously guys! We're wayyy too mature for that. ;)

My mom and I wanted to get some updated "Spring" pictures so we decided to dress the kids up in their Easter outfits and take some for fun. This was our first time trying to use a tri-pod..that was intersting. Thank goodness for the technology to crop and enhance pictures. After all the adjustments, they didn't turn out half bad!
