And then there were 5.....

This morning we had our 20 week ultrasound for baby #3!  We have been going back and forth about whether or not to find out the gender and when/if to tell the kids, but my hubby was a good sport and this morning all four of us crammed in the ultrasound room at the OB to find out.  We were SO excited.   Both Ella and Noah were super excited to be there, but Ella was especially giddy.  She loved getting to watch the ultrasound.  Noah was interested at times and distracted at others.  I'm so glad that we had them be a part of it though!  It's such an exciting time for us all!

I already posted our gender reveal on Facebook, but in case you're just a blog reader, here it goes.....

  It's a......
 BOY!!

We are so excited to introduce our littlest guy...."Owen Matthew"

I am technically 20 weeks on the dot today and little Owen was measuring at 21 weeks, so maybe...just maybe...I can actually deliver around my due date for once.  We'll see.  Ella and Noah were both a week late.  We had a really thorough scan and just about everything looked perfect.  They are a little concerned about his kidneys since both were measuring a little large and one was especially enlarged. It just appears like his urine isn't draining properly into his bladder.  Right now we don't have a lot of details since every case can be so different, but it can easily repair itself in the womb or soon after birth and if not our Doctors will have a plan in place for after birth.   Hard not to be alarmed, but we really love our new Doctors and feel totally comfortable having Owen's health in their hands.  We will see a high risk Doctor soon and that scan will give everyone involved more answers and they will work together to decide what's next.  Most likely all they will do for now is keep a very close eye on it and wait.  So that's what we're doing...just waiting and trying to take the advice of the doctor to not think of "what ifs" until we know more.  We've been praying for this little guy way before he was ever conceived and it's comforting to know that while we don't have answers, we know God's got it all figured out!

Here's a little picture!  He wouldn't move his hand down so it's covering his face in all of the pics..
